F.A.Q.

Who comes to cafechurch?

  • Ideally the whole church family should be aware of these events and support them.
  • At Christchurch we do not have an evening service when cafechurch meets, so everyone is encouraged to go.
  • We print out invitation cards outlining the topics for the next four months. This allows people to know the topics in advance and think about who they might individually invite.
  • Passing shoppers. People expect the coffee shop to be closed but will often stop and come in if they see the cafe full and hear live music. They are always warmly welcomed by the host on the door.
  • Many different people may use your church building during the week - make sure they all know about cafechurch.

Family friendly

  • Families feel comfortable coming along because the timing is right (even for a school night: 5:00 - 6:30). Also, we have an adult on the team responsible for talking to the children and engaging with them if they wish!
  • cafechurch has no upper or lower age limit.
